There are a number of procedures to Cosmetic dentistry, bleaching, veneers and crowns to name a few. Any one or a combination of these can really make a difference to your confidence, your smile and your life. Below is a summary of just a few of them:
Teeth Whitening
A very successful procedure is to bleach the teeth. Just by wearing a made to measure tray containing the bleaching gel for just a few hours a day for up to 3 weeks may make all the difference.

Veneers / Laminates
If bleaching is not the correct answer for you then bonding or porcelain veneers can work wonders. There are a number of other benefits to bonding or porcelain veneers over bleaching. For example they can be used to close spaces, or to appear to change tooth position. Bonding is done by cementing tooth-coloured filling material to the enamel. While bonding materials have improved over the years and can give good results, they are not as long-lasting and sometimes not as aesthetically pleasing as porcelain veneers. The veneers are a thin layer of porcelain, the same material used to make tooth-coloured crowns or caps, which once cemented to your tooth, act and appear like normal, natural tooth structure. These restorations need little or no tooth structure removal for attachment and are extremely pleasing aesthetically. All of these methods are tried and true to give you the smile you have always wanted.

Crowns and Bridges
Orthodontics and porcelain coloured crowns are considered the most traditional ways of smile enhancement simply because they have been in use the longest. These procedures are also viable options for many patients.

Implants
Finally, for a less than perfect chin, implanted fillers can be placed to augment deficiencies. Singly or in combination, all of these procedures can create an inviting and confidence-building smile.
